Abstract:
An experimental investigation was made of the kinetics of stimulated emission from a neodymium pentaphosphate $(NdP_5O_{14})$ microlaser pumped by 10-20 nsec pulses provided by a rhodamine 6G laser. The response of the resonator was the main factor which delayed (relative to the pump pulses) and broadened the output pulses.
