Abstract:
A laser interferometer was used to determine simultaneously the distribution of the amplitudes of surface vibrations of quartz piezoelectric elements, radius of curvature of these elements, and microdefects. The investigated zone was displayed on a television monitor screen. A study was made of AT- and DT-cut piezoelectric elements. The possibility of using such an interferometer to improve the method for precision adjustment of the frequencies of quartz resonators was considered.
