Abstract: The results are reported of an experimental investigation of the information processing of astronomical negatives with the aid of thick-film holograms. A system is proposed for double-beam summation with a thick-film hologram which makes it possible to reveal weak astronomical objects and to carry out other information processing operations on astronomical negatives.
