Abstract:
An investigation was made of the characteristics of 200-250 nm radiation emitted from the zone of shock interaction between plasma streams produced in a quartz tube by two magnetoplasma compressors. When the pulse duration was several microseconds, the brightness temperature of the emitted radiation was $27000^\circ$ in the region of 205 nm.
