Abstract:
Lasing as a result of the $4^2\Gamma-1^2\Gamma$, $2^2\Gamma$ transition in the $Kr_2F$ excimer was observed in the range $450\pm10$ nm when optical pumping was provided by radiation from an open high-current discharge in a $KrF_2:N_2=1:1000$ mixture at a total pressure of $p_0=2$ atm.
