Abstract: The results are given of an experimental study of the influence of a homogeneous magnetic field on the energy characteristics of a volume discharge. The results obtained indicate that the intrinsic magnetic field of such a discharge restricts the amount of energy emitted from an electron-beam-controlled CO2 laser.
