Squeezed quantum states of optical solitons
A. V. Belinsky, A. S. Chirkin
Abstract:
A study is made of the behavior of quantum fluctuations of optical solitons. It is shown that fluctuations of one of the quadrature components of a soliton can be reduced. In the optimal case the suppression efficiency increases on increase in the traversed distance. A strong squeezing is quite attainable.
