Vibrational-rotational spectra of the $\nu_3$ band of ${}^{192}OsO_4$ gas obtained using a diode laser

Abstract:
High-resolution spectra of the $\nu_3$ band of ${}^{192}OsO_4$ gas were obtained using diode lasers. Eighty seven of the observed absorption lines were identified. The values of four scalar and two tensor spectroscopic constants were determined more accurately and two new constants, a scalar and a tensor, were also obtained. This set of constants can be used to calculate the spectrum of ${}^{192}OsO_4$ up to $J=50$ with an error not exceeding $10^{-3}$ cm${}^{-1}$.
