Ring laser with slow-response feedback between the opposite waves

Abstract: A calculation scheme is developed for the characteristics of a ring laser in which qualitative allowance is made for a mechanism of additional slow-response feedback between the opposite waves. A system of equations is derived to describe the asymptotic frequency characteristic of a ring laser with such a mechanism. Ring laser experiments are modeled mathematically and the results of the modeling are discussed.
