Abstract:
Changes in the concentration of negative ions in the SF6 gas due to exposure to CO2 laser radiation were observed experimentally. This effect is attributed to a change in the electron capture coefficient and electron resonance energy. The possibility of utilizing such changes in a laser isotope separation is considered.
