Continuous-wave closed-cycle technological CO2 laser with 6 kW output power

Abstract:
A cw closed-cycle technological CO2 laser utilizing a helium-free mixture was constructed and tested. An output power of 6 kW and an electrooptic efficiency of ~8% were achieved.
