Abstract:
The results are given of an experimental investigation of an HF master oscillator–amplifier system based on the chain hydrogen–fluorine reaction. The experiments demonstrate the importance of the matching of the oscillator and amplifier spectra when a high energy yield from the amplifier is required. It is reported that the yield of the active medium of the amplifier can be 73%, compared with the yield in the oscillator regime.
