Investigation of lasing in a hybrid CO2 laser

V. V. Likhanskiĭ, G. D. Myl'nikov, A. P. Napartovich, A. F. Semerok, D. N. Sobolenko
Abstract: Operating regimes of a hybrid CO2 laser were invesigated. It was shown that the delay of a laser pulse relative to a current pulse in the high-pressure-vessel, and the shape, spectral composition, and energy of the laser pulse depend on the gain in the low-pressure vessel and on the resonator parameters. The experimental results are in agreement with a theoretical description of the operation of a hybrid CO2 laser.
