Minimum residual-type method for nonlinear integral equations

Abstract:
The paper interrelates the solvability theorem for nonlinear integral Hammerstein equation and the convergence of formal minimum residual technique. The convergence theorem for successive approximations method under kernel and nonlinearity constraints is proved.
