Rolle's theorem was proved by Weierstrass, Bolzano–Cauchy's theorem was formulated by Rolle 127 years before Bolzano and Cauchy. Ones could make a derivative equation 100 years before analysis appears. How did this ideas develop? What did Michel Rolle, the son of shoemaker and academician, make?
