Pade approximations and functional analogs of the Thue-Siegel-Roth theorem

In the talk we shall discuss some of the new results obtained recently in the theory of convergence of Pade approximants for multivalued analytic functions, and the possible connection of these results with the so-called functional analogs of the Thue-Siegel-Roth theorem.
