Matings, captures and regluing

Mating is a topological operation (introduced by Douady and Hubbard) that allows to build models for the topological dynamics of rational functions out of polynomials. We will discuss the relationships of this operation with the operation of capture (introduced by B. Wittner) and the recently introduced operation of regluing.
