Abstract:
We consider the first mixed problem for the Vlasov-Poisson system in domains with a boundary. This problem describes the kinetics of high-temperature plasma in controlled thermonuclear fusion devices. In the first part of the talk we present the results on the existence of classical stationary solutions to such a problem. In the second part of the talk the results on the existence of generalized solutions in a bounded domain with elastic reflection conditions will be presented.
