Some remarks on the recent publications in the metric fixed point theory

In this talk, after a brief history of metric fixed point theory, the novelty of the recent publication will be discussed with concrete examples.
Due to certain reasons, metric fixed point theory is still one of the hot topics of mathematics (indeed, it lies in the intersection of functional analysis and general topology).
Consequently, each year, hundreds papers are released on the metric fixed point theory.
In this talk, we shall focus on the overlapping results.
