Four-band filter: user's manual

The problem of the optimal multiband electric filter is a multiband extension of the classical third or fourth Zolotarev's problem. Two- and three-zone problems were solved respectively by E. I. Zolotarev (1877) and E. Stiffel (1960). The talk will consider mathematical problems that arise when using the algebraic-geometric ansatz for the four-zone setting.
