Abstract:
We study holographic RG flows in a 3d supergravity model with a scalar field (dilaton) and its
potential in terms of dynamical system theory. The gravity equations of motion are reduced to an
autonomous dynamical system. Its equilibrium points are analyzed for stability and asymptotic
solutions are restored therein. We show that some solutions can be interpreted as fixed points of
a dual field theory and that there are RG flows between an unstable UV fixed point and a stable
IR fixed point.
