Rate of decoherence in an exactly solvable model of an open quantum system

We consider a known exactly solvable model of decoherence in an open quantum system. Although the model is well-known, a detailed analysis of the dependence of the rate of decoherence on the asymptotic behaviour of the spectral density for small frequencies is lacking. In this talk, we fill this gap.
