Abstract:
It is well known that various fluctuations play a very important role in low-dimensional systems. This leads to the fact that such systems have unusual and, sometimes, counterintuitive properties. I will tell about quasi-one-dimensional superconductors, show that their electrical resistance can be non-zero and discuss why this fact does not always mean the destruction of coherence in the system.
