Abstract:
The scientist encyclopedist Nasir al-Din al-Tusi (1201-1274) was the author of more than one hundred and fifty works in various fields of science. More than forty of these works are devoted to mathematics and logic. In his works, Tusi applied the basic principles of logic in mathematics and mathematical methods in logical research. The report will talk about his treatises " an exposition of Euclid’s Elements", "Collection of Arithmetic by Means of Board and Dust", "Treatise on the Complete Quadrilateral", "Exposition of Assumptions Book by Ibn Qurra", “Extraction from Logic", "Fundamentals of Acquisition knowledge”, and about the scientific innovations that N. Tusi introduced in these works.
