Real K-theories

The purpose of this lecture is to investigate relations between various versions of real K-theories. In particular, we show how a real projective bundle theorem implies an unexpected relation between Atiyah's KR-theory and the usual equivariant real K-theory. This relation has been used recently in the computation of the algebraic Witt group of real curves. We also interpret KR-theory as a version of twisted K-theory.
