Uniform approximation by harmonic and bianalytic functions

We consider natural analogies for harmonic and bianalytic functions of well-known Vitushkin’s uniform rational approximation criterion. Some technical elaborations of Vitushkin’s approximation scheme, which are obtained during the last decades, are discussed.
