Abstract: The article is devoted to the description of the formal logical approach to the formation, development and assessment of the formation of logical universal learning activities (ULE) in the process of in the process of subject teaching based on the implementation of the idea of foundation. The conception of foundàtion of general logical operations and basic formal logical operations and constructions is defined. In accordance with conception the main components of the learning activities of students in the subject study are identified. The possibilities of applying the formal logical approach to assess the formation of logical ULE are demonstrated by the example of the «ability to prove» action.
