Abstract:
Let A be an associative algebra. Then there is a universal differential graded algebra DA introduced by W.Arveson and M.Karoubi. DA plays a role of noncommutative differential forms on A. In this talk is defined this algebra and discuss various operations on it. Then it is showed how to define cyclic homology using DA.
