Abstract: Nested algebraic Bethe ansatz is a part of the Quantum Inverse Scattering Method. This method makes it possible to study quantum integrable systems consisting of several types of particles. I will talk about the main notions of this method, how it differs from the usual Bethe ansatz. Also, I will discuss recent results obtained within the framework of this method in the problem of calculating correlation functions of quantum integrable systems.
