Examples of automorphisms of positive entropy

Serge Catat proved that if complex projective surface admits an automorphism with positive entropy then this surface is either an abelian surface, a K3, an Enriques surface or a rational surface. I am going to tell about this theorem and give examples of automorphisms with positive entropy for all these surfaces. If time permits, I will also give some examples of threedimensional varieties with an automorphism of positive entropy.
