5-secant conics and particular cases of the Kuznetsov conjecture

I will tell about recent paper by F. Russo and G. Stagliano. In this paper they proved that for a general point in three divisors parametrizing some classes of cubic fourfolds, the corresponding cubic contains a surface which has "many" 5-secant conic and deduce the rationality of cubic from that.
