On categorical methods in survival data analysis

We consider right censored survival data models under independent censoring. The Nelson-Aalen and the Kaplan-Meier estimators and their asymptotic properties obtained by using the martingale techniques for point processes will be discussed. Moreover, we discuss the so-called actuarial estimator and its asymptotic properties. We create categorical goodness of fit tests for right censored survival data based on the asymptotic properties of the estimators.
