Methods of Signal Processing

Robust Filtration of Random Fields

L. I. Piterbarg
Abstract: For one type of nonlinear filtration of random fields on a plane, the author establishes the degree of proximity of the statistical characteristics of the input and output signals for the case of a filtration window of small area. The resultant limiting relations are unaltered if a random flux of “pikes” is superimposed on the input signal.
