Coding Theory

Decision Invariance under a Nuisance Parameter

V. P. Kuznetsov
Abstract: Methods are considered for the synthesis of decision systems that completely eliminate the influence of nuisance parameters. The methods are based on maximum invariants under an appropriately selected group of transformations of the sample space. The problem of synthesizing invariant decision systems is stated in application to a broad class of communication channels.
