On a Two-Rate Servicing Problem

A method is proposed for recursive calculation of the stationary distribution of state probabilities of an $M|G|1|R$ system in which the servicing-time distribution $F(\tau)$ is replaced by $\Phi(\tau)$ when $m\geq 1$ requests accumulate, but servicing initiated prior to the threshold transition point is completed with the earlier distribution.
