Methods of Signal Processing

On Deformation of Plane Curves

G. A. Margulis, A. S. Omel'chenko
Abstract: The authors propose a method of constructing the deformation of plane non-self-intersecting curves, based on reduction of the length functional in some Riemannian metric. Results of computer experiments are described.
