Abstract: A self-consistent model for plasma polarization around an isolated dust particle with a size of $10^{-6}$m under the action of an external electric field is presented. It is shown that, for various intensities of the external electric fields behind the dust particle, there are self-consistent potential oscillations. The calculation results are compared with data obtained by using the known numerical approaches.
