Abstract:
This paper describes a study of the dynamic strength characteristic – the natural vibration frequency of a supporting wall comprised of two orthotropic cylindrical shells reinforced by discretely distributed annular rods. The problem is solved using the Hamilton–Ostrogradsky variational principle. A frequency equation is constructed, its roots are determined, and their dependence on the physical and geometric parameters of the problem is investigated.
