Abstract:
The temperature distribution in a well and reservoir are studied by numerical simulation of the nonisothermal movement of gas-cut oil in a multiple-zone well taking into account the Joule–Thomson effect, the adiabatic effect, and the heat of degassing. It is shown that the position of the boundary of the oil degassing area in the borehole can be evaluated from the temperature distribution.
