Criterion of formation of a shock wave reflected from a cloud of particles

Abstract: The problem of the formation of a “collective” shock wave reflected from a cloud of particles, which was previously observed in experiment, is considered. A criterion of formation of a reflected shock wave is obtained based on the numerical and analytical solutions of the problem.
