Abstract: A statistical model of a collision of particles against a randomly rough surface is proposed. Closed expressions for the density functions of distribution of the coefficients of momentum regeneration are obtained. It is shown that, for small angles of incidence of the particles, the coefficient of regeneration of the normal component of the momentum on a rough surface can be greater than unity.
