Abstract: The problem of heat flow from a uniformly heated spherical particle in a diatomic gas is considered. The paper reports results of numerical calculations for an analog of the Bhatnagar–Gross–Krook model of the collision integral under for purely diffuse reflection of the gas molecules from the surface.
