Equations of convective instability of a two-phase medium with modulation of the gravity force

Abstract: Thermal convection in a heterogeneous medium consisting of a fluid and solid particles is studied under conditions of finite-frequency vibrations. Equations of convection are derived within the framework of the generalized Boussinesq approximation, and the problem of stability of a horizontal layer to infinitesimal perturbations under the condition of vertical vibrations is considered.
