Abstract:
A comparative analysis of the failure of rock with surfaces of weakness in the vicinity of elongated clot cuts of rectangular cross section was performed using the boundary integral equation method and the Mohr–Kuznetsov strength criterion. The rock failure coefficient was used as the criterion of breaking.
