Determination of the concentration of strain defects

Abstract: A method for determining the concentration of defects such as micropores and microcracks occurring during plastic deformation of materials is described and justified on the basis of a multistage model of damage accumulation and experimental data obtained by an acoustic emission method. A comparison is made of experimental data obtained by various methods for a number of poly crystalline materials.
