Abstract:
The problem of a viscous incompressible fluid flow around a hollow porous sphere in the Stokes approximation, in which the filtration flow through the sphere shell obeys the Darcy law, is solved. The force acting on the sphere from the fluid is calculated. The limiting cases are considered. The stream function is constructed.
