Abstract: The mathematical modeling of the carbon dioxide injection into the reservoir initially saturated with methane and its hydrate was carried out. The system of equations, which is describe the heat and mass transfer processes in porous medium, was obtained using the methods of mechanics of multiphase systems. The assessment of the conditions under which we can neglect the kinetic mechanism of the formation of gas hydrate and diffusion mixing of carbon dioxide and methane is presented.
Keywords: gas hydrates, carbon dioxide, methane, porous medium, dissociation.
