Surface nanobubbles with contact line pinning
S. I. Koshoridze Institute of Applied Mechanics of Russian Academy of Sciences, Moscow
Abstract:
The work is dedicated to the theoretical study of the formation and stability of surface charged nanobubbles with fixed boundaries in contact with the substrate (contact line pinning). On the basis of thermodynamic analysis it is shown that at some dimensions of nanobubbles the Gibbs energy of the system passes through the minimum, which indicates the existence of equilibrium stable nanobubbles.
Keywords:
