Phasic switcher for electromagnetically induced gratings in a medium with $\Lambda$-atoms

Abstract:
The possibility to use phasic effect to turn off a coherent population trapping for creating a switcher of the light propagation direction in an electromagnetically induced gratings in the medium with $\Lambda$-atoms is studied theoretically in this paper. The allowable scope of the effect is determined. The parameters that allowed to obtain a highly efficient scheme of spatial redistribution of the intensity of the probe field on atomic density gratings were obtained and studied.
