Abstract:
The codeposition of calcium salts, phosphorus, and multiwall carbon nanotubes (CNTs) from aqueous solutions in the Ca(OH)$_{2}$–H$_{3}$PO$_{4}$–H$_{2}$O–CNT system was used to obtain composite materials based on nanocrystalline calcium hydroxyapatite Са$_{10}$(РО$_{4}$)$_{6}$(ОН)$_{2}$ (NCHA) and CNTs, containing 0.1, 1, and 5 mass% CNTs. The influence of CNT content on the particle size, morphology, and solubility of NCHA in HA/CNT composite was studied, which models the CNT effect on the process of biomineralization in native calcium phosphates.
